MacBook Air 2016 release date on Black Friday?

Black Friday is among the busiest, if not the busiest, shopping day of the year, but could it also be the ideal day for launching a new product?

That is reportedly a distinct possibility for at least one Apple product.

According to the Latinos Post, rumors online are now suggesting that Apple is considering a Black Friday release date for the MacBook Air 2016.

The rumor is, of course, unconfirmed, and it also begs the question of why Apple would ever consider releasing any product on Black Friday. The said day is synonymous with shoppers rushing to stores and incredible discounts on several products. If Apple is indeed planning to release the MacBook Air 2016 on that day, then there is a good chance that the news will go by largely unnoticed.

It is worth noting that there are some people who had expected the MacBook Air 2016 to have been released by now.

Back in October, Yibada reported that both the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2016 were supposed to be released by this year, but the company ultimately decided against doing so due to some mitigating market factors. The decision also meant that Apple would have to postpone the release of the two devices all the way into next year.

It's now believed that Apple will be organizing a multitude of releases all at the same time.

According to BitBag, Apple is now planning on releasing the MacBook Air 2016 along with the MacBook Pro 2016 and also the iPad Air 3, although an official launch date for the three devices has yet to be announced.

The MacBook Air 2016 is rumored to feature Intel's new brand of Skylake processors and is also expected to run the newest version of the El Capitan operating system right out of the box.

The latest version of the MacBook Air is also expected to feature significant boosts in terms of its RAM and other internal components upon being released.
