Mac Mini 2014 to release soon by Apple soon?

Mac Mini 2014 Apple

Apple's Mac Mini is set to be updated this year as the device has been skipped out last year.

It was initially expected that a new Mac Mini will be launched at the end of February, which clearly did not happen. Meanwhile, the online Apple Store was down on the morning of June 18 and many hopefuls were keeping their fingers crossed that a new Mac Mini will be slipped into the market. However, the Apple Store is now back up offering nothing more but a cheaper iMac.

However, there were rumors suggesting that a new Mac Mini will arrive soon. According to the French Apple reseller FNAC, no unit of Mac Mini is available in its 20 shops all over Paris. The shortage of stock is often an indication that new models will be shipping soon. But, there is no reported shortage elsewhere. As a matter of fact, Apple Store is offering "pick up today" for US residents, and shipping within 24 hours to the UK.

There were speculations that there could be a delay in manufacturing of the device. Ever since, Apple has not been eager to update its Mac Mini device. In the past, the company waited one and a half year to update its device. Thus, there could be no delay after all. Meanwhile, rumors that Apple will release a low-cost iMac hinted that the tech giant may discontinue the line.

Mac Mini is Apple's smallest and cheapest desktop. Currently, the entry-level Mac mini offers a 2.5GHz dual-core processor (Intel Ivy Bridge), 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, and Intel's HD Graphics 4000. Of course, compared to other Macs, Mac Mini is cheaper as it does not come with a screen and consumers will end up spending for a monitor. The Mac Mini is not a good deal right now but waiting fans were expecting that Apple will make a similar update to that of MacBook Air.
