LZ7 lights up iTunes chart

The brand new single from LZ7 ‘This Little Light’ was released into the charts on Sunday and climbed 50 places in the first 24 hours in the iTunes chart from 130 to 59 and is still on the move.

Last Saturday saw the Manchester Apollo packed out as thousands of school kids gathered to celebrate the ‘This Little Light’ single release.

The event featured support performances from BeBe vox, The Audacious Band, Twelve24 and Guvna B, followed by an outstanding hourlong set from LZ7 featuring all the new songs taken from their new album ‘Light’, out in October.

A fantastic live show, with all their hooks and energy, the evening was a night to be remembered and when the band came on to perform the new single ‘This Little Light’ the whole place exploded and sung along. It's a song that has become an anthem for the kids of Manchester.

This single unloads all of its optimism and energy following the Shine Your Light campaign that has run throughout the summer; a campaign that has made clear that all this is about so much more than a song.

‘This Little Light’ accompanies the call for young people to get out and shine their light. By encouraging thousands of young people all across the country to unload acts of kindness on their neighbours, families and communities, the revolution of goodness has made a significant impact.

The song is available to download from iTunes now.
