'Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta' season 4 spoilers: Mimi's problems continue to escalate in episode 8

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta VH1

"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" season 4 is reaching its halfway point with episode 8, "The Truth Hurts," airing this June 15. No official synopsis has yet been released by VH1 but fans can point at where the show is going, given some of the events that unfolded in episode 7.

As revealed in the previous episode, Mimi and Margeaux got into a fight when the latter revealed that the whole sex tape scandal was part of a bigger, more elaborate plan. Of course, this didn't sit well with Nikko London since he's got several book deals with his ex-girlfriend Mimi, but he also revealed he's got more tricks up his sleeve.

The episode also revealed that Mimi learned Nikko had recorded their conversations, hinting that the latter might indeed have a dark scheme behind the curtain. Nikko even told Margeaux that if the book deals don't work out, he still has a "secret weapon" that can be used to clear his name and put Mimi in jail.

Episode 8 might reveal what Nikko's plans are. He had been recording all his conversations with Mimi so it is possible that somewhere in those discussions, Mimi might have said something that could get her into a lot of trouble. It might have to do with the sex tape that was made public last year or it could be something else, something larger.

Then there is the issue of Joseline's decision of postponing the wedding. Everything was planned and she was already in high gear throughout the season to move forward with marrying Stevie when she learned, via Karlie Redd, that Stevie was not just working again with Mimi but also with Jessica Dime.

All of these issues will come to a clash in the next episode when everything comes out in the open.

"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" season 4 episode 8 will air on June 15.
