"Longmire" will be continuing for season 5, marking its second season on Netflix after the show moved from its original home on A&E. However, as stated in a report from Game N Guide, the series might end with the upcoming fifth season and that it might see the death of both Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) and Vic (Katee Sackhoff).

The fourth season ended with a sudden cliffhanger when Walt and Dr. Donna Monaghan were having an intimate moment when an intruder suddenly broke into the house, teasing that season 5 would premiere with a violent confrontation. This might hint that the violent streak may continue until the show's end.

According to the report, Walt might not maintain his relationship with Monaghan and instead might opt to get involved with his long-time friend Vic. This will mirror the events in the original novels as Vic and Walt were romantically together in the books. However, if the couple does get together and marry it is rumored that they will not stay married for long as they might be killed off soon.

While it is unlikely that Walt and Vic would be killed off in a straight-forward confrontation the report points out that the two might get into a fatal accident quickly after getting married. The couple is rumored to get into a violent car accident and this may spin the events for the recently teased season 6.

Fans speculate that not both Walt and Vic might meet their end as season 6 may focus on either of them investigating the accident and who may have caused it.

Netflix has yet to confirm or deny whether or not the rumors are true but the likelihood of the show getting renewed for another season was hinted when actor Lou Diamond Phillips stated in a Twitter post "It is a beautiful (final) day at the Red Pony and continual soiree... until next season! Big thanks."

"Longmire" season 5 premieres this Sept. 23.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
