'Longmire' season 4 cast, release date: two guest actors, Netflix targets fall release

Longmire A&E/Netflix

Both Netflix and "Longmire" have been very tight-lipped about what's to come and that's for good reason, too. Since the network uses a different format to release the episodes, the series wants to make sure that every twist and turn will be a surprise to their loyal fans.

But while details are kept secret, the new cast members are already confirmed. There will be two actors to look forward to in the upcoming season, one of which is veteran actor Terry Camilleri. He will guest star in season 4 and this news was confirmed by "Longmire" regular Adam Bartley himself.

On his Instagram account, he shared his excitement to act alongside Camilleri and said, "The incredible Terry Camilieri in his #Longmire debut! Better known as Napoleon in Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure!!!"

Camilleri himself has not confirmed the news, but there's really no need to at this point. He will have scenes with Walt Longmire played by Robert Taylor.

The other actor who will be joining "Longmire" season 4 is J. Michael Trautmann, who confirmed his return through his Instagram account. Trautmann posted a photo of himself, captioned, "Early call today; I'm so tired... Longmire."

Later, he got dressed up and wore his character Trey's wardrobe and captioned it, "Trey. Day 2."

With both actors on set, it just confirms that "Longmire" is on a roll completing all 10 episodes that Netflix ordered. The show began filming in March after being cancelled by A&E back in August. Netflix picked up the show in November and nothing has stopped "Longmire" since.

The target release date for season 4 is this fall, which may be around August or September. There is no official date yet, but all 10 episodes will be released at the same time. The cast and crew are currently in New Mexico filming the episodes.
