The upcoming season of "Legend of Korra" will bring "balance" to fans' expectations as the Nickelodeon anime series will return to the small screens this October, according to Variety.

The third season's final episode was recently shown on the official Nickelodeon website, and the TV network will be airing the new episodes of the fourth season every Friday on Nick.com and on the Nick app. The new season is entitled "Balance", and the first episode will air on Oct. 3, as stated in the official video announcement.

Nickelodeon decided that the "Legend of Korra" was fit for online distribution during its third season when it raked in poor ratings and reviews. By looking into a new streaming approach for release, the spinoff series for "Avatar: The Last Airbender" by Bryan Konietzko and Mike DeMartino generated a large number of fans online.

This Sept. 15, the third season of the "Legend of Korra" will be televised once again on Nicktoons, which is expected to increase the number of viewers for the upcoming season. The finale for last season showed the triumph of the Benders over the Red Lotus rebels. Korra was captured but rescued in the end, although her condition was not good when the season concluded.

Meanwhile, Jinora gained the title of being the first Airbender after several generations, making her a major character in the upcoming season. Kuvira has also been thought of as a villain despite being introduced in the series with her heroic attempts in saving Korra's father.

Fans can look forward to the "Legend of Korra" being featured at the New York Comic-Con on Oct. 9 at 5:15 p.m. and is expected to be the final panel at the event. With this upcoming event, Nick.com has already shared a photo of Korra in Book Four, along with a picture by Konietzko.  Executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos and Studio Mir. Artist Lauren Zurcher also provided the painted background.
