'King's Quest Chapter III' release date news: New chapter to debut April 26

King's Quest Chapter III: Once Upon a Climb The Odd Gentlemen

"King's Quest," the new reboot of the classic adventure games now being developed by The Odd Gentlemen, will officially receive its third chapter. Titled "Chapter III: Once Upon a Climb," the third chapter of the game will hit store shelves on April 26 for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and the Xbox One.

According to a report from Destructoid, the third chapter will continue the tale being narrated by King Graham and his grand daughter Gwendolyn, a tale that focuses on King Graham's youth. This particular chapter will focus on romance and will reveal the love story of Graham and his future wife, Queen Valanice.

The exact details of the chapter's plot are still unknown but many fans speculate that it will revolve around King Graham attempting to climb up to Valanice's castle in order to win her favor or at least get her attention. The "King's Quest" series is known for its sense of humor and "Once Upon a Climb" is not likely to disappoint in this regard.

Following the launch of "Chapter III," there will still be three chapters left to release. The reboot franchise still has a fourth and fifth chapter set to launch by late 2016 to early 2017, with an epilogue to serve as the final chapter of the game. All of the three final chapters have no release date as of the time being.

The reboot of "King's Quest" has received wide acclaim for staying true to the nature of the original games while breathing in new life and new gameplay mechanics to the franchise. The first chapter re-imagined many of the events from the very first "King's Quest" game while sticking to what fans consider to be canonical plot points.

Instead of being a tried-and-true point-and-click adventure game, the new "King's Quest" manages to emulate the style used by Telltale Games' "The Walking Dead" while still retaining its own sense of identity. Where Telltale Games focuses strongly on narrative, "King's Quest" by The Odd Gentlemen focuses a lot on puzzle solving and item use.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
