Kim Kardashian weight loss PHOTO: Star magazine cover shows 50-pound post-pregnancy body

Kim Kardashian allegedly lost 50 pounds since the birth of her first child, daughter North West.

The reality star, whose baby photos have yet to be released, graces the cover of Star Magazine. Her post-pregnancy body is on display on the cover, which is titled: "I got my body back! How she lost 50 pounds in 40 days."

Kardashian is keen to lose her baby weight after her pregnancy weight gain was chronicled in the media. She gave birth on June 15, and although its been less than two months since the birth, the reality star is reportedly sticking to a strict 1,200 calorie diet.

A source told Star Magazine: "She has a chef making her fresh green juices of kale, celery, spinach, collard greens and cilantro. They make up 80 percent of her diet, and the other 20 percent consists of low-fat chicken and a light salad or steamed veggies."

The 32-year-old is also said to be breastfeeding baby North West. "She kept hearing that she would lose a lot of weight if she did breast-feed," the source said. "That's why she's forcing herself to do it."

Kardashian has not made any pubic appearances after the birth of her daughter.

Kanye West and Kardashian have been keeping their baby away from the public's eyes. Despite finding her fame on camera, Kardashian reportedly does not want her baby girl appearing on her reality show when she is born. However, latest rumors suggest that North West may debut on her grandmother Kris Jenner's new talk show, 'Kris.'
