Rewind to the days when the world learned about Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's relationship. Years on, the two separated and got back together, only to separate again. Fast forward to now, it seems like the two still can't get over each other despite breaking up for the second time around.

There are reports that Bieber could surprise Gomez  at the upcoming 2014 American Music Awards, where the latter is set to perform, according to Hollywood Life.

"He came back to LA because he wants to see Selena. He's even talking about showing up at the AMA's to see her. No one on his team thinks that's a good idea but Justin's going to do what he wants to do," a source said, according to Hollywood Life. "He really wants to be with Selena, he feels like that's the only thing that will make him happy. He's struggling big time."

However, Gomez may not feel the same for her ex. In her next song "Dilemma 2.0," she sings, "I know you're not good for me. One half of me wants ya, And the other half wants to forget you."
