Jeremy Lin news: Shooting woes continue with low performance against Milwaukee Bucks

Jeremy Lin of the Charlotte Hornets has been going through a performance slump throughout the season, a far cry from the 23.9-point average he was achieving at the height of the "Linsanity" popularity. According to a recent report from Sports Rageous, this slump continues with Lin managing only 4 points in the Hornets' recent match against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Despite being in the game for a total of 23 minutes, Lin managed only to score 4 points from one of eight field-goal attempts and made none of his three attempts from the 3-point line. He managed to complete two assists and four steals before his time on the court was over.

As detailed by Roto World, this is no different from his performance in previous games prior to the All-Star match. Against the Miami Heat, Lin played a total of 16 minutes and only managed 6 points while their match against the Indiana Pacers saw Lin peak a little higher with a total of 14 games in 28 minutes of game time.

According to Sports Rageous, one of the reasons why Lin may be going through this low shooting slump is because of the poor pairing with the guard-forward Courtney Lee from the Memphis Grizzlies, who was brought in after the Hornets sent off P.J. Hairston.

The report continues to say that the pairing may be affecting Lin as his performance strongly depends on good combinations with his fellow players. Unfortunately, the Hornets temporarily lost starting forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist due to an injury.

Lee has since been added to replace Kid-Gilchrist on the court while also adding new depth to the players' on-court chemistry. This new playing style may be affecting Lin's capabilities, but as the report points out this can only be confirmed as more games go by.

The Charlotte Hornets will be on the road again to face the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Indiana Pacers, giving ample opportunity for Lin to improve his performance and to test the waters with Kidd-Gilchrist.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
