The moment the world learned about Jennifer Aniston's engagement to Justin Theroux, it has been following every possible update about her wedding. It's been two years since the proposal and yet, Jennifer and Justin haven't made any reveals on when they're going to tie the knot.

Even their good and close friends do not have an idea on when it will be. Some would even turn up in Jennifer's parties all dressed up thinking that it could be the big day. What gives? Jennifer's friends are really hoping to know so they'd be prepared for it, one of which is Ellen DeGeneres.

Last Nov. 25, Jennifer made a guest appearance on "Ellen" and the comedy host asked the "Friends" star about the wedding date.

Ellen opened up the conversation saying, "I am your friend and I know a lot about you, but if I weren't your friend, I have to discuss the crazy constant rumors of the wedding."

The host jokingly added, "I know that I'll know when the wedding is, but sometimes, because it is so secretive, when we're invited [over] we're like 'I'm not in town... but should we be in town?"

Jennifer completely understood what Ellen was saying and even shared a story about her good pals Sacha Cohen and Isla Fisher. During a Fourth of July party, Sacha and Isla turned up wearing wedding wear with Sacha in a powder blue suit and Isla in a cute dress. That's a perfect example of how paranoid her friends are getting.

Ellen then shared a story of her own about the whole dilemma.

"That one time that Portia and I called, and it was very secretive, like there may be a thing this weekend, we'll let you guys know where it is, and what time. And we were like, 'Oooh, should we make that?" Ellen narrated.

But Ellen and Portia didn't make the party and laughingly said that they didn't go because "we didn't need to." Ellen added that she's so busy, "there has to be a wedding for me to stay in town."

The segment can be viewed here.

Jennifer did, however, say that she will let her friends know when the wedding will be. There was an assurance in her voice. But with how secretive things are going, those outside Jennifer and Justin's inner circle might find out only when the ceremonies are over.
