'iZombie' season 3 spoilers, premiere: next season, Major will also have visions

 The CW

The main draw of "iZombie" is that everytime Liv (Rose McIver) eats someone's brains she gets visions of their past and how they died, and she picks up some elements of their personality. According to McIver while speaking to TVLine, it is teased that season 3 will see her sharing the duty with Major (Robert Buckley).

"The last thing that I've heard from him [executive producer Rob Thomas] is that Major is gonna be taking on characteristics from brains as well," she explained. "We'll see a little bit more of that from him and other zombies. ... I'm really excited that I'll be sharing that duty."

According to McIver, she does want to see Liv and Major get back together. Fans of the series will recall that they were supposed to get married until Liv died and became a zombie, eventually pushing him away. Despite this, he became a zombie as well in season 2.

McIver also explained that despite the fact Liv's other boyfriends, Lowell (Bradley James) and Drake (Greg Finley), both died she still sees a future where both Liv and Major can be together.

The report reiterates that Buckley himself also hopes for Major to see a happy ending although he acknowledged that this may not happen for a long time. As stated by Buckley, seeing the heroes fail and struggle is what makes good TV and it may be some time before the showrunners and writers give Major and Liv a moment of peace.

Vine Report also points out that Liv and Major are still good friends although they are no longer romantically involved and this may be a hint of things to come.

"iZombie" season 3 is rumored to premiere this coming Fall although there is no definitive release date as of the time of writing. As stated in a report from Variety, the CW Network has released their slate of premieres for this October but "iZombie" was not listed amongst them.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
