The report came from a post by Re/Code's John Paczkowksi, who can be tagged as a reliable source after hitting the mark regarding the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 plus release date on Sept. 9 this year.
If his prediction proves to be accurate once more, then rather than a full-size showcase of Apple's new set of devices, the company will do it in its Cupertino Campus. Also, in the same event, Apple will attempt to address the viral bendgate issues, along with a report of the newest iPhone versions' sales and standings since their release.
As a tech giant, Apple is not new in taking bold steps in manufacturing technological masterpieces. And while waiting for the big show, here's some useful information to check out regarding the would-be stars on Oct. 16.
The Michael Report teases users of what to expect from the new iPads. Loyalists can expect to see a thinner version of the iPad Air 2, free from control buttons to perfect the slim finish. Another big deal about the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3 is the presence of a more reliable Touch ID. The highly-anticipated feature will be embedded in the home button.
A 16GB iPad Mini will still be there, according to reports. However, the iPad Air 2 will only work with 32GB memory as the minimum. And for what might be the ultimate treat, Bloomberg revealed that the new iPads will come in a gold version.
The price is expected to start at $499 for the iPad Air 2 while the iPad Mini 3 is $100 less.
