iPad Air 2 was just released last month, but discounts on the new tablet were already emerging to attract buyers.
We are still weeks away from Black Friday, which entails one of the biggest sales every year that people are waiting for. However, deals and discounts are starting to emerge.
U.S. retailer Best Buy will hold a pre-Black Friday sale on Nov. 8 that will offer deals for the new iPad Air 2 and iPad Air. Consumers who buy the tablets will be gifted with a $50 gift card. However, buyers will have to act quickly as the sale will take place from 1 pm to 4 pm only. Aside from Apple's new iPad Air, the sale will also offer other electronic products.
iPad Air 2 is currently one of the thinnest tablets on the market with a thickness of 7 millimeters. The tablet comes with 9.7-inch Retina screen display, A8X 64-bit processor, 16GB / 64GB / 128GB storage variants8 megapixel back camera, and Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The tablet also comes with the new iOS 8 that herald new software features such as Apple Pay and iHealth.
With the release of the new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3, last year's iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina display have received a wide array of discounts. Last year's iPad tablets received around $100 to $200 discounts from various retailers.
In Best Buy, consumers can take home the WiFi only model of 64GB (Space Gray and Silver) iPad Air for $499 only, which is $100 off its original price. Meanwhile, the 128GB (Space Gray and Silver) variant costs $699 or $200 off the price of the tablet. Best Buy also offers WiFi and Cellular model of 64GB (Space Gray and Silver) iPad Air from Verizon is offered for $629 and the 128GB (Silver) variant for $829.99.
More discounts are expected to emerge as Black Friday and Cyber Monday near.
