iOS 9.3.5 jailbreak release date news: 9.3.5 skipped by Pangu in favor of iOS 10 jailbreak

iOS 9 Apple

As stated by Vine Report, the Pangu team has successfully released a jailbreak system for iOS 9.3.4 and this will be their third jailbreak for the multiple iterations of iOS 9. However, Apple has just launched iOS 9.3.5, negating the jailbreak with its new security measures, and it is revealed Pangu will not be working to jailbreak it but instead focus on the upcoming iOS 10.

The report points out that iPhone and iPad owners can still benefit from the iOS 9.3.4 jailbreak as long as they do not ugprade to iOS 9.3.5, which comes with multiple new security measures that block out the jailbreak and prevents the Cydia app store, pirated apps and custom, homebrew apps from running on the device.

Parent Herald reveals that because of the sudden release of iOS 9.3.5 it appears as if Apple is actively trying to stop jailbreak teams like Pangu because jailbreaking can lead to a multitude of security concerns, such as people hacking someone else's phone to get private information like their credit card information or more.

With the sudden release of iOS 9.3.5 and the upcoming launch of iOS 10, which comes with the recently announced iPhone 7, Pangu will not be working on it and instead work on iOS 10, using the developer versions of iOS 10 which is already out and available for programmers to make apps with. This would make more sense given that the team may be able to jailbreak iOS 10 right after it launches.

It is undetermined when the full build of iOS 10 is launching and there is no offiical announcement when Pangu may be able to launch a jailbreak for iOS 10 or if they could squeeze in time to jailbreak iOS 9.3.5. As it stands there will not be a jailbreak for iOS 9.3.5 and consumers will simply need to wait until iOS 10 has been jailbroken.

Pangu has not made any official statements at the time of writing.
