While Apple's most recent operating system update has brought on a couple of new features such as third-party keyboards and widgets for the Notification Center, among others, iOS 8 has already been associated with problems relating to Wi-Fi and battery drains.

Specifically, iOS 8 has generated complaints about bugs in the operating system, slower speeds in terms of Wi-Fi connectivity, and short battery life. According to PCMag, iOS 8 users have already reported their complaints on online Apple support forums.

Various devices from the tech giant, including the recently launched iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, may have experienced a Wi-Fi bug, which may be fixed by turning off one's Wi-Fi connectivity.

Another iOS 8 problem that has been frequently reported is battery drain. Some users claim that their devices' batteries have been draining fast since the latest OS update. However, while such issues hold true for certain users, others who have obtained the recent update have not experienced such Wi-Fi and battery problems on their devices.

Apple has not released details on how these concerns can be resolved, but it has been reported that the tech giant will still unveil another major iOS 8 update this coming October to make notable features available, including Apple Pay, SMS Relay, and HealthKit apps, among others.

Aside from connectivity and battery glitches, performance-related problems have also been reported, with which devices running on the iOS 8 are performing slower. For instance, users pointed out that Safari is slower in loading pages.

Nonetheless, one of the common solutions is to reset the device's settings to the default values and check whether the problems are resolved. If not, users can back up their content on iTunes and have their devices reset to their factory settings.
