How John Luke Robertson sneaked in camouflage prints during his wedding

"First, @taft_ sent the groomsmen and I super cool no-show socks. Mary Kate told me there would be NO camouflage at the wedding, but hey, what she can't see won't hurt her!" he wrote.

The Robertson family from the reality show "Duck Dynasty" are known for their camouflage prints, but it's one thing Mary Kate McEacharn strictly prohibited John Luke Robertson from wearing during their wedding day.

John Luke did not want to upset his bride, and yet he did not want to celebrate their big day without wearing the print that has become the trademark look of his family, so he came up with the perfect solution.

On his Instagram account (@young_and_beardless), John Luke shared a photo of his groomsmen standing in one straight line, all wearing camouflage print socks. "First, @taft_ sent the groomsmen and I super cool no-show socks. Mary Kate told me there would be NO camouflage at the wedding, but hey, what she can't see won't hurt her!" he wrote.

John Luke also shared some behind-the-scenes details about their wedding on his social media page. "So many friends and family came together to make mine and Mary Kate's wedding day happen," he said. And one of the special visitors the young groom had that day was a mariachi band.

"When I heard this mariachi band sing 'Big Green Tractor' at a local Mexican restaurant, I was hooked. My friends and I showed up every Thursday night for a year to sing along with them! They showed up last minute to sing us one last song before the wedding!" he shared.

As for Mary Kate, she described her wedding to John Luke as the "best day ever," and it's exactly the same song that the band played after they were pronounced as husband and wife.

"Weddings are great because both of your families and all your circles of friends are at the same place at the same time...that is awesome," she wrote on her blog

"The ceremony was beautiful. My pastor welcomed all of our guests and opened with a prayer. Then Mr. Willie preached. He compared marriage to a house—it wasn't very long at all but it was very meaningful and had so much truth in it...I think everyone there, especially the couples, left encouraged."
