Hhgregg Black Friday deal 2014: iPad Air for $100 less

Buyers who want a really affordable iPad and are not targeting to purchase the newest model can take advantage of the Black Friday deal offered by Hhgregg — the U.S. retailer is taking $100 off the price of last year's iPad Air

The iPad Air is part of the retailer's "doorbusters" deals that will kick off on Nov. 27 at 4 p.m. Buyers will be able to nab the 16 GB Wi-Fi only variant for $299, which is $100 less than the current price of the device, and $200 less than its original price of $499.

Staples offers the 16 GB Wi-Fi only variant for $319, while Walmart gives a $100 gift card to consumers that can be used to buy the iPad Air.

While not the latest model, last year's iPad Air is still very competent in terms of features.  It has a 9.7-inch screen display, an A7X processor, an Adreno 330 GPU, an 8-megapixel back camera, and boasts 9-hours-worth of battery usage.

For those who are looking for other Apple products, several retailers are offering some hard-to-resist Black Friday deals:

iPad Air 2:  Target is giving a $140 Target GiftCard for the iPad Air 2, which brings down its price from $499 to $359.

iPad mini 3: Target is giving a $100 discount for the device, bringing down the price to $299.  In Best Buy, the 16 GB iPad mini 3 costs $324.99 or $75 off the original price.

iPad mini: Consumers can get the device from Target for $249, but the retailer will  throw in a free $80 gift card knocking the price down to $169.  Walmart, on the other hand, offers the 16 GB Wi-Fi only variant of the iPad mini for $199 with a $30 Walmart Gift Card, while Best Buy decreased the price by $100.

iPad mini Retina:  This costs $299 at Target with $100 gift card, bringing the price tag down to $199.

Apple is also set to reveal its Black Friday deals and is purported to center mainly on the iPad and will offer the tablets and other Apple devices at a discounted price.
