Cristina Yang farewell: Season 10 finale episode most intense yet with Sandra Oh departure

The 10th season of "Grey's Anatomy" will come to a close and will be the most intense finales fans will ever see.

In the finale, fans will be able to see the bold and brash Christina Yang for the last time making her rounds at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital as she will be flying to Switzerland for a more comfortable job.

As if saying goodbye to one of the most admired characters in the series is not enough, the hospital will be rocked by the aftermath of a supposed terrorist attack. A huge explosion will happen at a nearby mall in Seattle yielding to numerous deaths and injuries. The injured victims were brought to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Shonda Rimes was known for her dramatic season finales such as the tragic plane crash that yielded to the exit of Lexie Grey. Reports said that season 10 finale will be one of the most intense finales of the series.

While attending to the massive injuries of the terrorist attack, residents of the hospital will have to deal with their personal problems as well. Meredith is at the crossroad as her husband Derek told her that he was offered a job in D.C. and that he also wanted her to take a job there. Will fans see Meredith to exit the series soon?

A released synopsis of the episode also revealed that one of the doctors "will receive shocking news." Although the synopsis did not mention any name, viewers already have ideas as to who may drop a big bomb on the final episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 10. Fans already knew that Alex has taken a new job at a private practice. Also, could it be that one of the interns will receive the good news and will be promoted to their dream practice.

The season 10 finale of "Grey's Anatomy" will air on Thursday, May 15, 9PM.
