The "Gran Turismo" franchise is not called the best video game in PlayStation history for nothing. With perfectionists for developers, "Gran Turismo" is a product of unparalleled awesomeness and epic game experience. The immaculate graphics rendered in every "Gran Turismo" game makes it incomparable with other video games in existence, putting a smile on every gamer's face even if they crash their BMW or Chevrolet cars.

Not to disappoint, Kazunori Yamauchi and Polyphony Digital go back to work for a new high-quality "Gran Turismo" installment, the "Gran Turismo 7." In an interview with GamesTM via Gamerant, the game producer revealed the existence of the new title. Although time is key for building successful games such as the GT series, the producer revealed that the year diehard "Gran Turismo" gamers will get to play it is closing in.

He said, "For GT7, myself and my staff have a clear vision: to do everything we couldn't do in GT6. We want to make it very Gran Turismo. By that I mean it's going to be a game that matches the very era that we live in, in 2015 or 2016."

Yamauchi and the team are not bounded by limits as they have no plans to stop developing games of pristine visuals. For the newest installment, they are not going too far away in picking out details to include. Yamauchi said that "Gran Turismo 7" will be excusive to PlayStation 4 to accommodate high-quality game data.

"Everything will be running naturally, PS3 was much, much more difficult. The high quality of data that we have being rendered on the PS4 I think is going to make an incredible difference," he said.

"Gran Turismo 7's" predecessor, "Gran Turismo 6" was released exclusively for PlayStation 3 in December 2003 and was published by Sony Computer Entertainment.

It seems a bit too early for complete details, but according Yamauchi, "Gran Turismo 7" will likely be slated for a 2015 or 2016 release.
