After a successful release of the GoPro Hero 3, the latest cameras christened as GoPro Hero 4 Black and Silver promise equally, if not more, action-packed captures and extreme shots. Hero 4 Black is a nick better, sporting a touchscreen display that the Silver model lacks. Other than that, the new GoPro models are identical in terms of bringing the task of capturing clips and images to a whole new level.
Still sporting the same dimensions, the most impactful feature that sets GoPro Hero 4 Black from its forerunner is its capability to capture wide-angle 4k videos in as much as 35 frames per second, doubling Hero 3's 15 fps frame rate. The latest model allows users to shoot in 1080p with 120 fps and 1440p at 80 with an expected better audio performance as well.
The Hero 4 is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-capable which makes the process of connecting to a smartphone or a tablet ridiculously simple. Another strong basis for the new GoPro camera's swarming patrons is its impressive waterproof capacity of up to 131 feet range.
No fast-moving subject can evade GoPro which uses better and faster frame rate to capture high quality images at 12 megapixels. The ability to review and create videos with quick swipes is also intact in the sharply-designed camera.
From 1160 mAh batteries featured in previous GoPro cameras, users can now enjoy longer hours of intense video photography action with GoPro Hero 4's 1180 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery.
The GoPro Hero 4 has already hit the market on Sunday and the price starts at $499 for Black and $399 for Silver.
