Nexus 6 release date in October with LG G3 5.5 inch screen display?

Google is reportedly working on a Nexus 6 with LG G3-like 5.5 inches screen display, according to latest rumors.

There have been talks that Google will release its last Nexus smartphone dubbed as Google Nexus 6 before it totally axes the line to be replaced by the rumored Android Silver program next year. Web site Austroid cited an unnamed source which it claimed was close to the company saying that Google is prepping for the Nexus 6 release date in October or November. The source added that the device packs a 5.5 inches screen display similar to that of LG G3 handset.

The same source implied that Google will once again work hand-in-hand with LG Electronics in making the Nexus handset. LG helped Google in making the two previous Nexus smartphones, which have become popular due to their fair specs and features as well as reasonable pricing.

This new rumor is not exactly promising. However, it strengthened previous claims that Nexus 6 is, indeed, on its way. Moreover, it provided more proof that the Nexus line is still alive, giving hope to waiting fans.

If rumors proved to be true, it is most likely that Google will release the alleged device in October or November, which has been the launch window of its predecessors.

The rumors on Google Nexus 6 were resurrected by a recent tweet from Google's Android account. Team Android accidentally, or intentionally, tweeted an image of an unknown smartphone that does not resemble either the Nexus 4 or Nexus 5. The tweet promotes easier grocery shopping using Android; however, the handset in the photo highly resembles the Nexus 5 smartphone but with discernible curved corners.

Google Nexus 6 is rumored to pack a 64-bit version of its Snapdragon 800-series chipset clocked at 3 GHz; 5.2-inch full-HD, curved LCD display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass; 3 GB RAM; 13 MP camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera; Bluetooth; NFC; Micro-USB; Wi-Fi; and 4G.
