Google Nexus 6 features are reported to include QHD screen display and Snapdragon 805 SoC, according to the latest leaked benchmark.

The next Nexus smartphone dubbed "Shamu" is reportedly in production by Motorola. Android Authority got hold of the alleged photos of the new Motorola handset codenamed Motorola XT1254.

Leaked screenshots of the new Motorola smartphone appeared in CPU-Z, an information collecting application collecting information such as SoC function, system information, battery details and sensors. According to the leaked benchmark, the handset will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC clocked at 2.65GHz paired with 3GB of RAM.

The Motorola XT1254 also known as the Droid Turbo is rumored to pack a 4.59-inch QHD screen display, specifically with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. Other features of the handset include Android 4.4.4 KitKat; a 20-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Motorola's "Shamu" was reported to aim mainly for U.S. consumers and will be available through major U.S. carriers. Markets that currently have access to Nexus will be able to purchase the device. However, Motorola and Google have not revealed any specific details about the alleged smartphone and its release date.

Rumors also report that the smartphone will sport a 5.9-inch screen display with unknown pixel resolution and a fingerprint sensor. With the massive screen display, it is reported that the handset will be Google's entry to the phablet category.

Grapevine stated that the release date of Nexus 6 will be in October, which is the usual launching platform of Nexus handsets. The Google Nexus 6 made by Motorola is planned to be released in November but this could change depending on different factors although the two companies have not confirmed the release date of the smartphone.

Google has a lot of devices lined up for release such as the Nexus 8 tablet, reported to be released in the same time frame.
