God is Here - the brand new all-age album by Nick and Becky Drake

Worship leaders from St Paul’s Hammersmith Nick and Becky Drake this month release their second all age worship album, ‘God is Here’.

Following on from the success of the Drakes’ first album ‘Big Family of God’, ‘God is Here’ aims to bridge the gap between young and old, creating a truly all-age sound for the whole family to enjoy.

Together with the Elevation team and the creativity and talent of producers Weeksweeksweeks, Nick and Becky have created a distinctly contemporary and unique feel in this new album, which they believe is a key reason that all ages enjoy the songs.

Speaking of their vision, they said: “One of the most exciting things for us is seeing children and adults worshipping God together with words and melodies that each can connect with – and that’s been our chief aim in creating this album.

"We hope that no matter what age you are, these songs will speak of God in a meaningful way – and will release massive joy as people play the album in their homes, cars, on the way to work or school, or wherever they may be!”

The title, ‘God is Here’ reflects Nick and Becky’s heart for encounter with the living God through worship, and their desire for God to presence himself through times of corporate singing.

They are passionate about leading children with the same values and preparation that they would apply when leading adults – seeking the Spirit, teaching children what it means to worship and helping them to come into closer intimacy with God.

The Drakes have a passion to enable the wider church to grow in all-age ministry and see ‘God is Here’ as a resource for worship and children’s workers. Along with the audio CD is a bonus CD which includes backing tracks, chord sheets, stories behind the songs, interviews and more.

'God is Here' is released through Elevation on 10 February 2010.

Elevation’s catalogue of Christian music and resources includes brands such as Spring Harvest, New Wine, Jesus Culture Music, Vineyard Records UK and Innveration Trust, as well as established and up-and-coming artists such as Jonathan Veira, Helen Shapiro, Iona, Yazz, Brian Houston, Mark Edwards and Tom & Olly.
