A body of a nine-year-old girl was found in a dumpster this weekend in Ohio.

Reann Murphy, who was last seen late Saturday afternoon in a mobile-home park where she lived. Her parents reported her missing at 8:28 p.m. She was found dead in Smithville, just hours after she was reported missing.

The girl's next door neighbor Jerrod Metsker, 24, has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He was said to be "acquainted to the victim and her family" but officials had found no motive at this time.

Metsker was arrested at his home. He reportedly ignored knocks to his door and authorities had to get a key from a family member to be let in.

According to the Wooster Daily Record, Metsker will be arraigned on a charged of aggravated murder this morning.

No details on how Reann was murdered were released by officials.

Richard Murphy, the heartbroken father of the victim, told the Daily Record: "All she did was love people." He also said he wanted the "worst for the guy" who murdered his daughter.

Wayne County Prosecutor Dan Lutz said: "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. It's a horrific incident to take place at any time, especially during the holidays."

The mobile park has been described as relatively safe and not dangerous.
