With the fifth season of "Game of Thrones" inching its way to its premiere in 2015, more than a few rumors have surfaced about the characters who may be appearing in the season along with other spoilers which may or may not have deviated from the story based on the book.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, speculations on Bran Stark showing up in "Game of Thrones" season 5 can be easily debunked. While fans look forward to Isaac Hempstead-Wright reprising his role as Ned Stark's second-to-the-youngest son, it was previously revealed that Bran and his travel buddy Hodor will be sitting out the fifth season.

Meanwhile, Charles Dance mentioned in an interview that the audience has not yet seen the last appearance of Tywin Lannister, despite his agonizing death in the previous season.

With the "Game of Thrones" producers announcing that they will be including flashback scenes in season 5, it has then been speculated that Dance will be reprising his role as the Lannister patriarch but, this time, as a corpse.

Avid fans of George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel series have also looked forward to the Iron Islands subplot from "A Feast of Crows" to be included in the TV adaptation. However, producers already announced that such storyline will be intentionally overlooked this time due to the wide range of characters and settings that the HBO series is fitting in, especially with the addition of Dorne scenes.

Speaking of Dorne, the cast and crew are carrying on with filming in Spain where scenes for the kingdom of Dorne has been set. Fresco Film, a local production company, carried out a casting call for at least 600 extras for a battle scene and roughly 86,000 applications were received.

Many of the scenes were initially filmed at the Alcazar palace in Seville, which was used as the abode of House Martell. Fans can expect to see House Martell still grieving over the death of Prince Oberyn who was brutally killed in season 4. Filming has now reportedly moved to Osuna, which will be used as the main setting for a major fighting sequence.
