HBO has finally dropped a satisfying trailer for the seventh season of the massively popular television series, "Game of Thrones," giving expectant viewers a glimpse of the action to come this July. For a long time, the series has teased an inevitable war between the three central characters of the show namely Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) but now, it seems that war is dawning upon them as evidenced in this latest trailer.

At the conclusion of the sixth season of "Game of Thrones," Cersei had taken the iron throne for herself, Jon Snow was crowned "King of the North" and Daenerys finally embarked on her long-awaited journey to Westeros. The trailer begins with Cersei discussing her enemies from the north, south, east and west as she fills the throne room with her Lannister soldiers. Daenerys and her allies finally enter Dragonstone, the seat of the Targaryens and the place of her birth while the north has gotten colder than ever. Ser Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) is heard giving a brief warning saying, "If we don't put aside our enmities and bound together, we will die – and then it won't matter whose skeleton sits on the Iron Throne."

Winter is further advancing toward Westeros and with it comes the Night King and his vast army of the undead and the problem is that only Jon Snow and his posse are aware of the threat. "For a long time we've been talking about 'the wars to come,'" Executive producer David Benniof said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, adding, "Well, that war is pretty much here. So it's really about trying to find a way to make the storytelling work without feeling like we're rushing it."

Wars and fighting aside, though, the trailer also features hot and heavy scenes from Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) and Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson) to what may be the first lesbian couple of the series: Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan) and Ellaria Sand (Indira Varma).

The seventh season of "Game of Thrones" will air this coming July and along with it comes blood, the undead and dragons, setting itself up for an epic-filled season.
