From the top of the radio charts to the big screen

|PIC1|From the small screen to now the big screen, Battistelli's top 5 radio hit "I'm Letting Go" can be heard in the promotions for new movie "Julie & Julia" featuring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams.

Battistelli is set to perform this fall on the 43-city "Follow You Tour" in the US as special guest to co-headliners Brandon Heath and Leeland.

The high-profile touring event kicks off September 23 in Norfolk, Nebraska and goes through November 22, ending in Birmingham, Alabama.

Not one to sit back and relax, Battistelli is confirmed to perform on Newsong's 2009 Christmas tour and will kick off next spring appearing on the "Rock and Worship Road Show", along with headliner MercyMe. Upcoming dates will be announced shortly.

Appearing earlier this year on the 35-city nationwide 2009 WinterJam tour, Battistelli continues to perform this summer across the country at churches and festivals. She will appear in mid-September at Disney World's famed "Night Of Joy".

This New York City-born singer and songwriter has been going non-stop since her debut project, My Paper Heart. Released last summer on Fervent/Reprise Records, it boasts the No 1 hit for multiple weeks, "Free to be Me".

The single reached an unheard of No 1 on four radio charts and is also the first No 1 song from a female at AC radio since 2005. This ranks her as the most added female artist and new artist in Christian radio history. She was named one of iTunes' best new artists of 2008 within the Christian/Gospel category and received accolades for her single "I'm Letting Go" as the No 3 "Best iTunes Song" of the year.

Francesca Battistelli has been nominated five times for the 2009 Dove Awards for Female Vocalist and New Artist of the Year, while "I'm Letting Go" received nominations for Song of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year. My Paper Heart was nominated for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year.

Adding to her accolades, Battistelli's music has been featured on AOL Music's homepage, in ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition", NBC's "Biggest Loser", and The Style Network's new reality show "Running In Heels".
