Free church resources for Last Chance Harvey

|PIC1|New flick Last Chance Harvey offers the latest chance for churches to discuss key life issues.

Set in London, the new film starring Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson went on general release in the UK Friday.

"Having previewed this insightful 'rom-com' I thoroughly recommend it to all churches - in particular as a discussion starter for women groups," explains Nick Pollard of the Damaris Trust.

The film covers three main areas - living with past failures and regrets, overcoming the fear of pain and disappointment in new relationships, and reconciliation.

Inspired by the film and the opportunity it presents to churches, Damaris has created free, downloadable resources for groups to run special events around the film - including clips, interviews with the stars, posters, invitations, quizzes and a leader's guide.

"Last Chance Harvey offers reflection on important issues," said Nick. "It is well worth taking a group to see at the cinema. We are grateful to the film's distributors, Momentum, for making clips available free through Damaris. We hope hundreds of groups will take advantage of this excellent opportunity."
