Franklin Graham urges Christians worldwide: Stop doing business with companies that promote 'moral decay'

Franklin Graham says Christians have 'the power of choice.' BGEA

Franklin Graham is encouraging Christians worldwide to stop doing business with companies that promote "moral decay."

The outspoken evangelist wrote on his Facebook page: "Have you ever asked yourself: How can we fight the tide of moral decay that is being rammed down our throats by big business, the media, and the gay and lesbian community?"

Every day, there is something new to contend with, he said. For instance, Graham cited luxury jewelry retailer Tiffany & Co. which has started advertising rings for gay couples. Then there's Wells Fargo bank which is now using a same-sex couple model in their advertising.

"And there are more," he said, "but it has dawned on me that we don't have to do business with them."

Taking the initiative, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has moved its accounts from Wells Fargo to another bank. Its leadership and members have also decided to quit shopping at Tiffany & Co.

"There are plenty of other jewelry stores," said Graham. "This is one way we as Christians can speak out—we have the power of choice. Let's just stop doing business with those who promote sin and stand against Almighty God's laws and His standards. Maybe if enough of us do this, it will get their attention."

Earlier, Graham spoke against the transition made by Bruce Jenner into becoming a woman named Caitlyn. He said that changing his outside appearance won't change the issues Jenner is already dealing with on the inside.

"No man-made modification can fix what's wrong with the heart," he said. "Only God can fix the human heart. If we ask for His forgiveness and accept by faith His Son, Jesus Christ, He will wipe the slate clean."

Graham is pretty happy with the response he received from a person named Stephanie about his opinion on Jenner. According to Stephanie, she spent over 12 years living a gay lifestyle. She was a Christian, too, but she knew "without a doubt" that what she was doing was not what God had made her to be.

"I am grateful to be delivered and set totally free. All of it is a matter of the heart! I pray for all GLBT men and women to be delivered as I have been. Sexual impurity is not of God. God created us all in our mother's womb perfect and of HIM," she stressed.
