The ultra-realistic racing simulator published by Microsoft, "Forza Motorsport 7" was just released on Oct. 3, and the reviews are now in. Luckily, for racing fans out there, the video game has been receiving mostly positive reviews for surpassing expectations across the board, as well as adding new and innovative game modes that enhance the overall gaming experience for aspiring racers out there.

In a review by Engadget, they could not deny the stunning graphics that the developers from Studio 10 has worked so hard to provide its players. The graphics have been reported to be a major improvement from "Forza Motorsport 6," not just from the cars that players can use, but even the intricate detail that was put into each and every in-game crowd member. The courses have been "brought to life," feeling real and organic.

People have been intimidated by the previous titled in the "Forza" series, since it has been clearly marketed for racing veterans or car buffs. However, the latest title has been lauded by IGN as something that can be beginner friendly due to the in-depth tutorial, the wide variety of tracks available, as well as a roster of cars that can suit the taste of just about anyone. The further stated that "Forza Motorsport 7 is Turn 10's finest love letter," referring to all generations.

IGN had given the game a score of 9.2 out of 10, which is a pretty high and respectable score. However, that does not mean that the game is near perfect in other critics' perspective. According to Mercury News, they described the Loot Crates, which are random packages of car upgrades obtainable through in-game micro transactions, as a "nonsensical cash grab." They further stated that the game has far too much to offer for the Loot Crates to be deemed necessary.

However, the Loot Crates could be targeted for people who do not exactly have the time to grind tirelessly to optimize their cars. It would be a very unreasonable reaction for people to completely dismiss the game just because there is an available option to cut some corners to get ahead.

"Forza Motorsport 7" is now out for the Xbox One and the PC.
