'Fear the Walking Dead' season 2 spoilers: major plot points in new trailer

 AMC

The latest teaser trailer for "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2, courtesy of Empire Magazine, is only 15 seconds long but as short as it is, it does give a good hint at events to come, most importantly how the show may connect to the web-series "Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462."

Eight of the episodes for "Flight 462" have been released thus far. The short series focuses on a zombie outbreak inside a commercial airplane. AMC made it clear before that one of the survivors of this doomed flight will join "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 and this trailer now indicates how this may unfold.

The trailer mostly focuses on scenes from the first season but at the very end there is a shot of an airplane flying dangerously low to the beach and the ocean waters. Fans have since speculated that this means the "Flight 462" aircraft will crash into the waters relatively close to the yacht that Travis (Cliff Curtis) and his family are about to board.

While nothing is clear at this point, it is speculated that Travis and several others, to the dismay of Victor Strand (Colman Domingo), will decide to go out into the waters in hopes of saving any crash survivors. This may be how the "Flight 462" character joins "Fear the Walking Dead."

Nothing has been announced directly from AMC, however, and therefore these should still be taken as pure fan speculation.

In related news, TVLine reports that "Desperate Housewives" and "Hemlock Grove" actor Dougray Scott will be joining the cast of "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 as well, although there are no details yet regarding what kind of character he will be portraying.

"Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 will premiere its first half this coming April and will take a break before continuing with the second half of season 2 sometime later this year, although no specific premiere date for the second half has yet been announced.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
