'Fallout 4' release date rumors: Game won't be available until late 2015?

Will Fallout 4 be worth the six-year wait? Wikipedia

It is still unknown when fans will get to play "Fallout 4." The developers have been very quiet about the game, if one is currently in development.  As such, fans continue to come up with speculations about its plot and its release date.  For instance, there are speculations that the fourth game of the "Fallout" franchise will be released in late 2015.  But then again, some are saying that, based on game developer Bethesda's release trends, the game should be expected in late 2014 or early 2015.

At any rate, gamers are too excited to wait. In an effort to know a thing or two about the forthcoming game, fans have gone through great lengths -- including alleged bribing and starting a petition -- just to get a glimpse of what the Bethesda masterpiece will bring, as The Fuse Joplin had reported. But to no avail, the creators remain tight-lipped about the matter.

Fans have their own predictions about the upcoming new game — solving puzzles and building links from the previous "Fallout" game plots to the upcoming one. Rumors say that "Fallout 4" will pick up from where its predecessor left off, while still sporting a complete revamp and design changes. Furthermore, it is said that the game will most likely be set in post-apocalyptic Boston.

A hint of hope shined through when Gameranx, as cited by Young Herald and Christian Post, pointed to gamemaker Bethesda as the source of the rumors and leaks about the game. This supports Gameranx's discussion with Erik Todd Dellums, the guy behind the voice of character Three Dog in "Fallout 3."

"Indirectly they are responsible for all the information leaked in recent months," the site remarked.

An online project named "Institute" is believed to bear hefty information about the upcoming installment. Aside from its constant pronouncement of possible "Fallout 4" settings, it also takes time to mention a popular Fallout mantra: "War, war never changes."

In the project, a new "Fallout" game is said to be assured, and a new mission is laid out from a character named Preston Garvey who implores players to search for a fusion core, likely to be found in a museum in the commonwealth.

The Fuse Joplin states in an article that Bethesda may have let out hints about the new game in the EGX Eurogamer Expo 2014 on Sept. 25.  Still, there are no concrete details about the much-awaited game.
