'The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited' pre-order for PS4 and Xbox One now

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited Bethesda

"The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" will be launched for the PS4 and Xbox One this June 9 and will no longer require a monthly subscription fee. According to a report from IGN, the game only requires a one-time purchase although premium members who do pay a monthly subscription will be entitled to several bonus content.

The game is also available for pre-order as of the time of writing. Those who pre-order the title will be given the Explorer's Pack. The pre-order bonus is available for physical and digital copies of the game and will grant players bonus treasure maps, an exclusive vanity pet, and the option to play as any race for any of the game's three alliances.

"The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" features three main factions or alliances: The Aldmeri Dominion, the Ebonheart Pact, and the Daggerfall Covenant. Players who do not pre-order will be restricted when it comes to choosing their avatar's race depending on which alliance they choose. This restriction is removed with the Explorer's Pack.

According to Vinereport, console players should be aware that ZeniMax Online Studios and Bethesda Softwork have announced that there might be a 15 GB patch that must be downloaded prior to playing the game.

3News reported that "Tamriel Unlimited" won't just be a straight-up port of the PC online game. For one thing, chat won't be as flexible since console players won't be using a keyboard. Instead, there will be pre-designed messages that can be chosen from and even saved to the shortcut wheel.

The Crown Store will still be implemented and there is an ESO Plus membership that players can avail to get monthly crown allowances and exclusive bonuses in the game. Subscription to ESO Plus also allows players access to all DLC content while their subscription is stil active.

"The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" will also feature the new Champion System as well as the in-game ability to burgle, steal, and murder other players in the game just as they could do these actions to NPC characters in the main "Elder Scrolls" titles such as "Skyrim."
