E3 2014: Top 5 games include Halo 5, Battlefield, Call of Duty and more

Early this week, E3 2014 event kicked off featuring a wide array of games and titles.

Many game makers and developers will introduce or give information about their new games. Most of the games are coming later this year just in time for the holiday and gift-giving season. Below are the top five games that avid gamers should watch out for in the E3 2014 event.

Halo 5: Guardians

The beta version of Halo 5: Guardians is expected to arrive in December. According to reports, gamers who have purchased the re-mastered Halo Collection in November will gain access to the beta version of Halo 5, which will be launched next year.

Battlefield: Hardline

The Battlefield series will offer something new this year, veering away from its usual military storyline. The new battlefield will show bank heists and shooting rampage type of game. The new Battlefield will feature GTA 5 –like gameplay.

Assassin's Creed: Unity

Assassin's Creed: Unity is set in revolutionary Paris and will now feature a multiplayer gameplay. This will allow up to four players to play cooperatively for the first time ever. "Assassin's Creed: Unity" will be launched in late October to Xbox One, PS4 and PC. PS3 and Xbox 360 users should not be sad as it was reported that Ubisoft will still support "Assassin's Creed" games.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

The Call of Duty games were known as the highest selling game of all time. However, this year will show the Call of Duty in the future, which will to take place 40-years from now. The weapons and the abilities of the players seemed futuristic. There is the much talked about exoskeleton-like armor that give the players super abilities. The game will hit the stores in December.

Final Fantasy XV

Final Fantasy is considered as one of the most successful JRPG franchise. This year, the series will unveil its 15th version that got the loyal fans excited more than ever.
