'Dragon Ball Super' spoilers: 'Resurrection F' saga begins with slight alterations in episode 20

 Toei Animation

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 19 officially began the story told in the animated film "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" and episode 20 will continue with this adaptation albeit with a few new scenes and alterations to properly pace the story into several episodes and to give it a fresh new take, reports Design & Trend.

As shown in the promotional trailer, the biggest addition is that of Goten and Trunks. The two Saiyan children were not a part of the conflict in the film but in episode 20, titled "Warning from Jaco! Freeza and his 1,000 Soldiers are Drawing Near!" they may finally learn the truth about Freeza and may even join the battle against the villain.

In previous episodes it was revealed that both Goten and Trunks were never told about Freeza because Bulma feared they might end up doing something radically irresponsible such as finding a way to fight Freeza. However, the trailer showcases that Jaco the Galactic Patrolman will tell them all about Freeza since he is not aware of Bulma's fears.

The trailer also shows that the episode will put Goku and Vegeta's training under the spotlight. Their training was not a big part of the film but it appears that in "Dragon Ball Super" it will be used to better explain how the two Saiyan warriors are able to achieve their Super Saiyan God Super Saiayan form, also known as the Super Saiyan Blue form.

Other scenes in the trailer also indicate that episode 20 may show more of Freeza's training as he works to achieve his ultimate form, the golden form seen in the film. This sequence was brushed off quickly in the film but it may be highlighted in the series.

Another alteration is Freeza's relationship with his underling Sorbet as the latter now gains more scenes to showcase how he works under Freeza and what his personal goals are.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 20 will air this Nov. 22.
