"Defense of the Ancients" ("Dota") 2 receives a new patch called Patch 7.05.

The "Dota" Asia Championship 2017 has just concluded. However, with the "Kiev Major" event coming in a few weeks' time, the game is having some adjustments and enhancements to ensure that it will run smoothly. With this, Valve releases Patch 7.05 to ensure that the problems and other imbalances found out initially are properly addressed and fixed. This is also to avoid destabilization during the "Kiev Major" event.

Patch 7.05 of "Dota 2" brings in minor fixes both to the general game as well as some other new items.

One of the improvements that the new patch brings is enabling treant protector in Captains Mode. Aside from this, there is an enhancement in the Shrines base health regen, reduced from 100 to 90. Intelligence-based Spell Amplification also has some modification, particularly from 1 percent per 16 intelligence to 1 percent per 15 intelligence.

In addition to these, the Towers are also another aspect that Patch 7.05 addressed. With the new patch, the Towers base armor is reduced by 2. As for bonuses, the Towers bonus armor based on nearby enemy heroes area of effect (AoE) increased to 1400 from 1200 previously. The Towers also gain one more armor per nearby enemy, making it to a total of three enemies now.

Lastly, the experience (XP) required to advance from level 20 to level 25 is now 10000 versus 10895 previously.

As for the items added, the new patch brings in changes that impact the items of the players. For instance, in Hand of Midas, the XP bonus is reduced from 2.5x to 1.75x. On the other hand, the gold bonus is increased from 190 to 220.

For the Orb of Venom, the slow duration is reduced to 3 from 4 previously, while the damage per second (DPS) is increased to 5 from 3. The new patch also brings in changes in the Tranquil Boots, Power Treads, and Quelling Blade.

Patch 7.05 is already released and weighs about 220 MB.
