Destiny PC Edition rumored for 2015 release; Xbox One and PS4 release date September 9

The conclusion of the beta testing for one of the most highly anticipated games this year has fans eagerly awaiting the actual release of the latest installment of the series. In a recent announcement, game developer Bungie has proclaimed the completion of the beta testing for their most recent version of the shooter game called "Destiny".

Although no official release date has been given by its developers and publishers with regard to its availability on the PC platform, fans of the "Destiny" series are expecting the release of the next version to gaming consoles this year. Patiently waiting since the commencement of the beta testing phase, players have been speculating on the possible upgrades and improvements that will be included in the soon-to-be-released version.

The beta phase of the game was launched on July 17, 2014. This phase was made available for all PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 users. Apart from the excitement caused by the success of the beta testing of the said upcoming game, fans are experiencing added exhilaration during the waiting phase because of the developers. The fact that Bungie are the same developers of the widely received Halo series definitely boosted the anticipation for "Destiny"

Based on the beta testing information, the upcoming game will feature an online multiplayer action role playing, which will be played by its fans as first person shooters. In a Facebook post, Bungie expressed its gratitude to all the fans who took part in the beta phase, which the developers proclaimed to be a "tremendous success".

"The Destiny Beta was a tremendous success from where we sat overlooking the Tower. If you played Bungie thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We learned so much about our game, and how we can make it better," they posted.

"Your next adventure begins on September 9th when we launch Destiny. Once we do that, we intend to keep it in orbit for a very long time. See you star-side," the developers added.

According to Bungie, "Destiny" will be released on September 9, 2014. However, the game will be limited to PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 users only. No reports have been provided on the release date of the game for PC.

Design leader Lar Bakker explained that the PC version of the game will be more complicated to develop.

"The truth is it's not that simple. I wish it was that simple. It is pretty complicated. That does not mean it can't happen in the future, it just means it won't happen right now," Bakker explained to "Eurogamer".

Speculations on the PC edition claim that the version will be released in 2015.
