'Destiny' news: Major update coming in November

The next big update coming to "Destiny" is currently penciled in for a November launch.

Update 2.0.2 is expected to bring a bunch of new changes to the game when it rolls out by then, and the game's developer has already given fans some idea of what they can expect when it is finally ready.

The update will address the problems that have been related to the game's Crucible mode. More specifically, it will address the issue of legendary drops and fix that problem as well for the Iron Banner.

Bounties will also be another area of emphasis for the latest update as it seeks to tweak it enough to make it work as intended. Bungie has not specified exactly what they want to do with the bounties with the game, but they have said that they want to do away with the ones that present a challenge that is simply too much even for their players to handle.

Players can also expect widespread changes being made to the Crucible Forged questline in "Destiny." The game's developers admitted that the questline may be a bit long and provides rewards that are not nearly good enough in exchange for the effort players are exerting. It would seem that Bungie has plans to tweak this as they implement the 2.0.2 update coming in November.

In related news, the hard mode for the King's Fall raid has finally arrived for the game, according to Forbes.

The harder version of the King's Fall raid was not made available upon the launch of "The Taken King" expansion for the game, but now players will finally be able to try it out for themselves.

The hard mode of the King's Fall raid is also unique for the fact that it will increase the light level cap for "Destiny" players up from 310 to 320, giving them yet another reason to try out the daunting challenge.
