Colombia vs Greece World Cup 2014 preview - Group C [ABC TV schedule]

Colombia will play Greece on Saturday as Group C gets underway at the World Cup 2014 tournament in Brazil. Today's game takes place from the Estadio Mineirao in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and will be an important game in determining who makes it out of the group stages.

Today's game will kick off at 12 p.m. EST and can be watched on the ABC network in the United States. The game can also be watched online through live stream via the link provided below.

Group C is one of the most open groups in the World Cup this year, with many making Colombia the favorites to top the four teams. As well as Colombia and Greece, the group consists of Japan and Ivory Coast.

For the teams that can pick up points in these opening encounters it will be a massive advantage moving forward. So both these teams will be desperate to claim the three points today, which would bring them half way to qualifying for the knock out rounds.

Greece will be the big underdogs of the group, having only ever won one World Cup game before. They could struggle but will be out to prove a point and hopefully pull off a few shocks.

Colombia will be missing star striker Radamel Falcao for the entire World Cup, due to his long term injury, a torn ACL. That leaves them with a distinct lack of firepower up front, and they will be hoping someone can pull up the slack and establish themselves on the international stage at this year's World Cup.

James Rodriguez and Fredy Guarin will be important going forward, and others such as Jackson Martinez, Carlos Bacca, Victor Ibarbo, and Adrian Ramos will be important for them if they are to fulfill their potential.

The game kicks off at 12 p.m. EST and can be watched online by  clicking here.
