Marvel Studios will be finally releasing their first female-led superhero film by 2019 with the release of "Captain Marvel," but the character is suspected to make her debut appearance in an earlier film, presumably "Avengers: Infinity War Part One." According to a report from Fandango, this may mean she is already being cast as production for the two "Avengers" films begin later this year.

In the report, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige hinted that this may indeed be the case as announcements will be made later this year, "I think we'll be announcing a filmmaker in the next month or two, and probably some cast members later in the summer, at the end of the summer."

Feige continued to explain that the film will likely be an origin tale, focusing on the story of Carol Danvers and her journey to become a superhero.

More importantly, Feige's statements that announcements are likely to be made by the end of summer indicate that Marvel will be making a splash at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. The studio notably has been absent for some time, allowing DC and Warner Bros. to take the floor to advertise "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Suicide Squad."

"Captain Marvel" has a script being written by "Guardians of the Galaxy" scribe Nicole Perlman and "Inside Out" co-writer Meg LeFauve. At the time being, there is no word yet on how her story will fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and its timeline in regards to the "Avengers: Infinity War" films.

According to a report from IGN, Rebecca Ferguson, who made a big debut in "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation," is rumored to be the main runner up for the lead role. MMA superstar Ronda Rousey also expressed interest and "Edge of Tomorrow" star Emily Blunt was also rumored to be cast as Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel.

"Captain Marvel" will be released in theaters on March 8, 2019.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
