'Batman: Return to Arkham' news: HD collection leaked by European ratings board

Batman: Arkham Asylum Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment

According to a report from Eurogamer, an employee from Gamestop revealed that there will be an HD collection of "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkham City" for the PS4. This was later supported by a report from IGN saying the European ratings board, PEGI, recently listed an unreleased game titled "Batman: Return to Arkham."

According to the report, the games will be optimized for the Xbox One and PS4, hinting that the graphics will be upscaled and framerates will be faster and smoother. Bugs and glitches will also likely be ironed out, particularly due to the jump from one console generation to the next.

It is also confirmed that the HD collection will include all of the bonuses and DLC that were released for the games. However, it is undetermined at this point if some of the console-exclusive or PC-exclusive content will become available for both PS4 and Xbox One versions.

"Batrman: Arkham Origins" will not be included, given that the prequel was developed by a different studio. "Arkham Asylum," "Arkham City" and "Arkham Knight" were all developed by Rocksteady Studios while "Arkham Origins" was handled by Warner Bros. Games Montreal.

It is also important to note that "Batman: Arkham Knight" is not included in the collection given that it just recently released for the current generation, although it has taken months for the PC version of the game to become stable and glitch-free.

The PEGI leak also reveals that pre-orders should have gone online starting April 19 but the game is not yet going to be released until June 10. However, this is still undetermined given that the publishers and developers have not yet made any official confirmation or announcement regarding the game's existence or release schedule.

All of the "Batman Arkham" games have been critically praised and defined as the definitive template for modern superhero video games.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
