Ubisoft has just announced that a new patch for "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" personal computer (PC) version has been released.
The update, released on Dec. 1, was designed to tackle the performance and stability issues of the game, which many PC players have encountered.
Players who have mid-range PC specs will experience most of the benefits that come with the update compared to those who have a fancy computer setup.
According to Ubisoft Forums, the PC Patch 1.21 consumes approximately 510 MB of space from the hard disk. The highlight of the update is the enhanced stability and performance of the game through improved user interface and bug fixes.
In essence, the game's loading screen in Sequence 7 has been fixed. The image shaking noted in the trains and carriages have also been corrected.
According to KitGuru, Ubisoft has also looked into the previously reported pop-in issues. Non-player characters (NPCs) have also been tweaked and should have better reactions with the arrival of the update. The improved reactions apply to allies, NPCs on the ground, carts, and trains. These characters should no longer get in the way of players or appear to walk into walls.
Those who enjoy the combat within the game would also be happy to know that the patch offers minor improvements on fights with NPCs, such as improved counter attacks and camera movement during fights.
The geometry-related issues have been tackled and should fix Jacob and Evie's problem of falling through holes.
Audio issues have also been corrected, especially the part where voices are not in sync with the cinematics, as well as subtitles not going with the flow as the audio. Missing or incorrectly played audio has also been fixed.
Online issues have been addressed especially the one in which no rating will be given for the final mission.
