'Assassin's Creed Syndicate': New gameplay video reveals minor details that players can maximize

 Ubisoft

More details about Ubisoft's next historical action-adventure video game "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" were revealed via the first-hour gameplay trailer that was released recently.

Ubisoft U.K. first released the 60-minute gameplay trailer through the Yogscast YouTube page. It shows how players can easily maneuver the different types of carriages in the game, as well as the hand-to-hand combat that they can use. A sneak peek into the variety of ways that players can deal with their missions is also provided.

The latest trailer also focuses on several minor details that were not highlighted in earlier gameplay videos, such as the group finishers. With this feature, a player can severely hurt a big group of enemies without having to kill them in an instant. Then the player will be able to finish all of them at the same time in a cinematic bout.

Then the video shows how carriages can be manipulated for the player's benefit. For instance, they can injure the horse by shooting it once to make it run out of control. Shooting the animal twice could be fatal and would result to the carriage crashing and creating a roadblock to prevent other enemies from catching up to the player on the run.

Other game features shown in the new gameplay trailer include the knife-throwing ability that players can utilize in order to entice their enemies to head straight for the traps that they set. They can also hide and unhide dead bodies if they want to.

"Assassin's Creed Syndicate" features events during the Industrial Revolution in London back in 1868. In this game, siblings Jacob and Evie Frye deal with the organized crime during the Victorian era while fighting with the established order that is manipulated by the Templars.

Ubisoft will release the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" on Oct. 23, while the PC version will come out later this year.
