'Assassin's Creed: Unity' to feature new multi-player missions

Ubisoft just announced its upcoming game "Assassin's Creed: Unity" packed with a new feature that enables players to embark on missions joined by other players.

The new version of "Assassin's Creed" will allow up to four players to play cooperatively for the first time ever. The missions are accessible through taverns spotted throughout revolutionary Paris. From the taverns, the player can move on straight into a co-op mission with other players. This hinted that some missions are quite difficult that it needed four players to work together.

"Assassin's Creed: Unity" will be launched in late October to Xbox One, PS4 and PC. PS3 and Xbox 360 users should not be sad as it was reported that Ubisoft will still support "Assassin's Creed" games.

"The title will be released this fall on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. We have not disclosed our plan yet for the Xbox 360 and PS3 SKUs, however we have made it clear as a company that we will expect to continue supporting both consoles for the foreseeable future," said Ubisoft exec Yves Guillemot.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft's VP Lionel Raynaud revealed that the company will continue making "Assassin's Creed" games every year. He said that as long as there is a huge demand for the updates and new version of the game, Ubisoft will make it. At the same time, the company aims to constantly improves the game while retaining the core values and elements of the original "Assassin's Creed".

"It needs to keep the series core values and we need to really make sure that we have a good, high level understanding of what it is to be an Assassin. We have to make sure we always deliver a better feel and overall experience every time while still bringing something that they haven't seen before that's consistent with being an Assassin in the world we've created," Raynaud said.
