Upcoming choice-heavy roleplaying game (RPG) "Ash of Gods" recently uploaded a brand-new trailer.

The trailer was uploaded to "Ash of Gods'" YouTube channel on Feb. 5. Approximately one minute and 30-seconds long, the trailer puts emphasis on player choice and just how much the plotline depends on the actions of the protagonist. The trailer also gave players a glimpse of the game's beautiful art style, character design and soundtrack.

The official synopsis reads:

"As the world plunges into death and suffering as the Reaping starts — you get to live through it and to try achieving your goals, whatever you choose them to be: to be a hero, to save your close ones, or simply to survive. But beware, sacrifices must be made — as will harsh choices, and you will have to decide - who lives...or who dies. Will your story turn out how you want?"

Players will not only have the ability to decide the fate of their own character, but the lives of many others will also be in the player's hands, whether or not they receive a happy ending or meet their demise in a horrible way – the will be entirely up to what choices the player makes throughout their playthrough of "Ash of Gods."

The game is slated for a March 2018 release. However, despite being a month or so away, the game already has a Steam page for those curious and willing to learn more about it.

According to Steam, "Ash of Gods" will follow three separate protagonists. The player will spend a certain amount of time with each, and whatever happens to each will have an impact on how the game will move forward with its story. The story will evolve to reflect the choices made by the player. Even if the protagonist dies, the game will continue and tweak the plot to include the death within its narrative.
