Gracing Atlanta's Walker Stalker Con with his presence, the "Game of Thrones" actor discussed what is in store for him in the upcoming "Aquaman" movie and his possible appearance on other DC films, including the "Justice League" movie and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

"I was just trying to respect Warner Bros. and everyone's wishes," Momoa explained, referring to the reason why he had previously denied claims of him portraying Aquaman. "I'm really, really happy that I don't have to be quiet anymore, because that's really hard for me."

While Momoa confirmed that he would be featured in Snyder's "Justice League" movie, he did not necessarily specify his appearance in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

After the announcement of Momoa's portrayal of Aquaman, fan site The Aquaman Shrine took to Twitter and posted a message with other characters that will be shown in the film, such as a strong ally, a couple of antagonists and, of course, a race of wicked marine monsters.

Although the plot for "Aquaman" has not yet been made known, rumors have been putting forward the idea that Orm will be the main villain and Mera will appear either already as Aquaman's wife or still a stranger who is yet to meet the aquatic superhero.

Without details on the actual storyline of the "Aquaman" film, it has been a big question for many whether DC will follow the same approach of introducing its biggest characters through their solo movies and bringing them together in one huge movie.

Captain America, Iron Man and Thor, for instance, were first given solo movies before getting together for "The Avengers" film.

On the other hand, according to DC's announcement, the "Justice League" film will premiere in 2017, and the "Aquaman" and "The Flash" films following a year later.

The "Aquaman" movie is expected to be shown in July 2018.
