iPad Pro release date set for next year?

Apple was bold to take a monumental step in beasting-up its gadgets. It cannot hold back now.

To date, the existence of the iPad Pro (or an iPad Plus, maybe) does not exceed the standards of a myth. Yet, other stories reveal that a large-screen Apple tablet is in the works, and photo leaks and rumors are there to back it all up. If this is to be realized, the huge iPad offering looks at an early 2015 release.

The new iPad Pro is imagined to be massive, kind of like a monster sibling to the 9.7-inch iPad Air . But rumors get crazier as expectations for the new device get more intense. This time, it is no longer a 12.9-inch users are looking at, but rather a hybrid of a laptop and a tablet.

In the midst of all the rumors, Bloomberg reports prove that Apple does not plan to disappoint. An article posted on the site says that an iPad, measuring a whopping 12.9-inch from corner to corner, is indeed underway and the tech titan aims to launch it next year.

Ming-Chi Kuo, a KGI Securities analyst is another to confirm the iPad Pro. Kuo has not bluffed about any Apple plans. He wrote about the coming of the iPad Air in 2014, which just took place on the Oct. 16 Apple event. He also stated that the large iPad will come in 2015. And assuming the guy does it again, iPad Pro is going to happen.

"We believe Apple plans to launch an upgraded iPad Air early this year, and will accelerate development of a 12.9in iPad," Kuo wrote via Mac Rumors.

If the iPad Pro will materialize, users can expect that it won't just be something oversized. The build of the full-sized tablet will evolve as well. Taiwan's TechNews reported that an A8 processor will power up the device topped off with a 2 GB RAM (bigger device, bigger RAM) to accommodate "really" fast application launch. Painless multitasking will come from its ability to run more than one application on screen at once. The iPad Pro will receive the Touch ID as well so as to be in line with the newly-launched iPads during the Oct. 16 event. PC Advisor bets on an elegant keyboard to go with the device, too.

Apple remains silent about the speculations but that does not mean that the iPhone is the only one to get upsized.
