NVIDIA is leading the charge for some of the most powerful graphics cards with the launch of their NVIDIA GTX Titan X. However, new leaks indicate that AMD is currently developing their own graphics card that could potentially be even more powerful. This new card is speculated to be the AMD Radeon Fury Pro.

Details of the Radeon Fury Pro first emerged with the AMD Crimson driver code, as per a report from WCCFTech. Some lines in the driver code reveal that there are plans for a future AMD card that will take full use of the upcoming Vega 10 architecture, and it is meant to rival NVIDIA's Pascal structure.

The Radeon Fury Pro is rumored to come with 12 teraflops of computing capabilities and 4096 graphics cores. It will also come with 16 GB HBM2 memory and 512 GB/s bandwidth.

If this statistic is true, then the Fury Pro may be even more powerful than the Titan X and far more powerful than the previously released AMD Radeon RX 580. The RX 580 has 7 teraflops and 8 GB HMB2 memory, with 256 GB/s bandwidth.

WCCFTech reports that the card is likely going to be unveiled behind closed doors before the end of the year. AMD is speculated to host a small event that will showcase the Vega 10 architecture as well as reveal the new video cards the company plans on releasing, including the Radeon Fury Pro.

The card won't be unveiled and released to the public until CES 2017, which is going to be held in January next year. It is noted that CES is mostly centered on consumer products, but both AMD and NVIDIA are rumored to be featuring their computer products anyway.

It should be noted that neither NVIDIA nor AMD have yet to confirm if they are going to be present during CES 2017, and the latter has not yet confirmed if it is indeed launching the AMD Radeon Fury Pro anytime soon.
